Religion belongs to everyone – Bangladesh is for people of all religions: NAP Secretary General

On the occasion of Durga Puja of the traditional Hindu community, Bangladesh NAP Secretary General M. greeted the Hindu community of all countries including Bangladesh. Golam Mostafa Bhuiyan said, Bangladesh belongs to people of all religions. Bangladesh is a shining example of communal harmony. People of all religions and castes have been living peacefully in this country for ages. Bangladesh NAP is determined to maintain communal harmony in the country.

He said this while visiting the Ramna Kali temple on the occasion of Durga Puja on Wednesday (October 13).

He said that all Hindus and Muslims together will defend the independence-sovereignty, democracy of Bangladesh and tell the whole world, ‘We are Bangladeshis’. Bangladesh is a bright pasture of harmony of Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists and Christians. Many countries can learn from Bangladesh about communal harmony

He further said that in fact the essence of all religions is to establish friendship and harmony through human service, to do good to the people. If everyone can grasp this essence of religion, there will be no more violence, strife and unrest in the world. We have to work together for the liberation of the working people by maintaining communal harmony along the path of Maulana Bhasani, the dreamer of independent Bangladesh.
