Human chain demands immediate end of ACC investigation to save North South University

The Law and Human Rights Protection Foundation has organized a human chain to demand speedy trial of Azim-Qasim Syndicate to save North South University, which has been plagued by irregularities, corruption and militancy. According to the human chain, the purchase of low value land for the university at a higher price, taking commission from the developer company, purchase of luxury car for the board of trustees, seating allowance of one lakh rupees, the same allowance even after meeting online, crores of rupees , North South University, which has been plagued by various irregularities and corruption, including admissions of several students and opening of additional departments by disobeying the directives of the Grants Commission. At the end of the human chain, a memorandum containing 6 points was submitted to the Anti-Corruption Commission. The demands are: Ban and arrest of two trustees of North South University Azim Uddin Ahmed and MA Qasim, proper investigation into all financial irregularities and corruption and confiscation of bank accounts of syndicate members including Azim-Qasim, former chairman of North South University accused of forging PM’s signature. . Shahjahan’s speedy trial, Azim-Qasim and members of their syndicate escape from all kinds of financial institutions Azim-Qasim was arrested and demanded to protect North South University from the terrible clutches of corruption and militancy. The human chain was attended by more than five hundred people including human rights activists, students, parents and conscious citizens.
